01 Hansei

In Japanese culture, Hansei (= self-reflection) is an indispensable part of Kaizen (= continuous improvement). In the western world, in the 21st century, reflection, although a noble activity, is too little practiced; the exciting day-to-day business leaves little time for it. I help my clients, through a series of tools and exercises, to get to know themselves from a different perspective and in greater depth, in order to successfully steer their process of personal and professional improvement.

02 Leadership

Leadership is something that is being developed across the course of a whole career. As an Executive Coach I teach my clients how to foster qualities that are essential in the 21st century, such as mental strength and resilience, in order to deal successfully with increasingly demanding challenges. This enables them to act in a more serene, confident and assertive way. I pay special attention to the development of a ‘multiplier’ leadership style, in order to assist my clients to create a maximum number of co-leaders.

03 Motivation

In the largest study on motivation at work ever conducted globally, 87% of the 2.4 million employees surveyed said they found too little or no meaning in their work. Placing your team members in the remaining 13%, who say they find a lot or a fair amount of meaning in their work, is an extraordinary competitive advantage. I share with my clients more than fifty motivational measures that work so that you can create a favorable environment where people in your organization give their very best in a sustainable way. Leading is when the eyes of our employees are shining!

04 Personal productivity

I have spent the last forty years the last researching best practices for effectively managing our time, energy and corrosive stress. I work with top executives in Europe, North and South America as well as in Asia and lead them to a previously unknown sense of flow to achieve optimal results in their work and personal lives. I help them to let go of ‘presentialism’ and to learn to focus on their true priorities. They get to know the benefits of ‘intermittent recovery’. And I help them to manage stress productively.

05 Cohesive teams

Most ‘teams’ are groups of individuals, far from being worthy of such distinction. Even today we still find in too many companies ‘departmental silos’. These prevent real team-work, slow down the speed of deployment and reduce their competitiveness. I help CEOs to foster cohesion and improve synchronization of the members of their management team through a process called Team Coaching. At the same time, each member of the Management Committee takes on an individual development challenge. The result is a more mature, more collaborative, more productive and ultimately more successful team.

06 Managing emotions

More than half of my clients are family businesses. I have a deep admiration for their founders, who in the vast majority of cases have created truly successful organizations. Already in my first years as an Executive Coach I realized that in many cases the succession of the founder is often not an easy challenge and requires an intervention beyond a mere ‘family protocol’. This led me to train and become certified as a conflict mediator. I help the parties involved to resolve conflictive issues in a productive way. As a coach, I also help clients, who display an overly emotional and/ or aggressive work style, that generates recurring conflicts, to regain a calm and serene attitude by the means of appropriate exercises.

07 Work-Life Balance

Most of my clients have made it to the very top as executives. However, a significant number of them ask themselves the question: “What now?” This is quite normal, the search for a true sense of life, the desire to feel fulfilled beyond the work environment, often intensifies around the age of 40/45. On the basis of a proven methodology, I accompany a growing number of my clients on their way of elaborating and putting into practice their true purpose and help them to find ‘three-dimensional success’.
